Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

This page explains, in plain words, what information we collect, why we need it, and what you can do about it. The short version: we keep only what Planely needs to work and to sync across your devices, and we never sell your data.

Who we are

aysunova.com and Planely are made by AYSUNOVA LLC (“Aysunova”, “we”, “us”), a small, independent software company. If you have any question about your privacy, write to us at ahmet@aysunova.com.

What this policy covers

This policy covers our website, aysunova.com, and Planely, our first app, which is made for iPhone. If we make more apps in the future, each one will get its own section here when it exists.

The website

Planely: what we collect

Your account

To use Planely you create an account, either with Sign in with Apple or with your email address, which we verify by sending you a one-time code. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we only receive the private relay address Apple gives us.

Your profile

Your name. If you choose to add them, your birth year, your gender and a profile photo. These three are optional, and Planely works without them.

Your tasks and plans

The tasks, habits and plans you create in Planely. We store them on our servers so they can sync between your devices and are still there if you change phones.

Device and app information

Your device model, its iOS version and the version of Planely you use, so we can help you when something goes wrong.

Subscription status

Whether you have an active subscription or free trial, which Apple tells us. Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card or any other payment details.

Voice input

Planely only uses the microphone if you allow it, and only when you choose to speak to it. When you do, the recording is sent to a third-party speech-recognition service that turns it into text. The text becomes part of your tasks and is kept with them. We do not keep the audio.

How we use your information

We do not use your information for advertising, and we never sell your data. We do not share it with anyone, except the service providers that help us run Planely, such as hosting and speech recognition. They may only use your information to provide their service to us. We may also share information if the law requires us to.

Where your information is kept, and for how long

Planely’s data is stored on servers in the United States. If you live somewhere else, your information is transferred there, and we protect it in the same way wherever it is kept.

We keep your information for as long as you have a Planely account. When you delete your account, we delete your data from our servers, and it disappears from our backups within 30 days. Messages you send to support are kept for as long as we need them to help you.

Our legal basis

This part is for readers in the EU, the UK and other places whose law asks us to state it.

We process your account, tasks and plans because we need them to provide Planely to you (performance of a contract). We process device information and support messages because we have a legitimate interest in keeping Planely working and in helping you. We use the microphone only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in iOS Settings.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, local law may give you more rights over your information. If it does, write to us and we will help you use them.

If you live in the EU, the UK or another place with a data protection authority, you also have the right to complain to it. We would be grateful if you wrote to us first, so that we can try to put things right.

Children

Planely is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child under 13 has given us information, please write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is important, we will also try to tell you in Planely.
